Based in Northern NSW, Australia, we are a new company that invested in bringing a new innovative product to the extensive vitamin D market. We offer a plant-based product free of processing and chemicals at an affordable price. Sustainability is also our goal and concern.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe in whole food.Our product is completely free from chemical extractions, additives, preservatives, and anti-caking agents. It also has no added gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, fish, or GMOs and is free of the irradiation process.
ABOUT US
In general, most Vitamin D is derived from animal sources. Yeast D is a whole food, plant-based, sustainable source of vitamin D derived from nutritional yeast flakes. We expose the nutritional yeast flakes to UV light, transforming existing ergosterol into Vitamin D2. UV light belongs to the natural light spectrum and is unrelated to gamma radiation. The vitamin D enriching process involves the fortification of nutritional yeast. Our suppliers for yeast are major worldwide yeast companies with a track record of safe and reliable products. The final product contains both Vitamin B complex and vitamin D2. In total, seven vitamins are in one product. An Australia-wide trusted supplier has tested the nutritional yeast for thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and folate concentrations. Our company tested for all vitamins listed in the raw material post-exposure to UV light and found that the raw material maintained all concentrations of vitamin B complex. We also managed to enrich the final product to 31,000 mcg/100 g vitamin D. The tests were done with the National Measurement Institute Australia. The final product has also passed bacteriological and heavy metal tests, and a full testing report can be obtained on request.
